The model shown was the top of the range Stelvio Quadrifoglio which Alfa Romeo claims will eclipse all rivals on performance and will go on sale early in 2017. The space setting SUV uses the same 503 horse power engine as the Giulia Quadrifoglio which is 65 horse power more than the most powerful Porsche Macan.
There will be a choice of several engines including a 2 litre petrol and 2.2 litre diesel. Sales will commence in Europe in the first quarter of 2017 and right hand drive markets will be served from the third quarter of the year.
